On August – October 1934, she made a long journey across the Polish countrysides from south to west, from Lviv to Kovel (these towns are in the Ukraine today), next to Kobrin – Pinsk – Kletsk – Nesvizh – Slonim (these towns are in Belarus today). She finished the journey in Vilno. Her story with over 500 photographs, taken by her, were published by the American Geographical Society in 1937 [1] in order to convey some notion of the people in the area by means of the photographs of high quality.
