Lighted candles flanked by a woman’s hands about to be raised for the blessing for the Sabbath blessing. Here lies a woman important, modest and virtues, extended her hand to the poor and stretched out her hands to the needy, Mrs. Rechuma daughter of the eminent rabbi the righteous teacher and rabbi R’ Yekutiel of blessed memory, died on Thursday 21 Kislev by the abbreviated era, a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised, in the year 5613 [2 December 1852] May her soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life.
