Here lies. His good name and his praise were known by the gates, was charitable and benevolence, an honest man loyal in his deeds, righteous and honest, God-fearing, modest and pious from a noble ancestry, loved the righteous and respected his rabbis, he is the noble pious scholar our teacher and rabbi Yosef son of our teacher and rabbi Shelomo Kalonymos of blessed memory died on Sunday 10 days to the month of Menachem Av 5694 [22 July 1934] May his soul be bound in the bond of life and stand for his righteousness to the end of days.
