In a winter 1943 local people were moved to work to demolish 2 jewish Bocki cemeteries. They took off gravestones and stored them in the ground at front "Dom Ludowy" (Folk Culture Club) located nearby the catholic church. Later many graves were used to repair the road to Bielsk Podlaski. After war new regime used gravestones as foundation of the grammar school in Andryjanki village. Catholic father Michał Sokołowski(known me personally), in this time parson of Bocki parish consciusly placed many gravestones in constructed in this time fence around the church. It was a time regime was quite close to the church. Father Sokołowski many times reapeted that will come time when the jewish gravestones will take off from the fence to move into a good sanct place. Is this moment now? I do not know... Sławomir Dworakowski sdworakowski@wp.pl
