[M] Mosze ascended to the placed of eternal rest/ [Sz] [H] (His) deeds were pleasing (?) and righteous, they went before him/ [B] In surety [N] he took and gave - and with equity, all the days/ [H] He loved Torah, he honored our teacher who guided his sons/ [Y] They were upright, he knew all who entered the gate of his city for prayer/ [Y] Fear of Heaven was kept, the toil of (his) hands was ?/ [M] He tithed(?) the former to the house of prayer/ [Sz M] His name [ON] still will be eternally with the bond of the living/ [Z] This (monument]) is [L] for us his comfort because he rests in peace/ because he returned in a good name unto the place of the spirit./ He died at 73 years old [---] and was buried on the next day [remainder not extant]."
