A man, respected, upright, honest and God-fearing, his hands supported the Torah scholars, lived in honesty and righteousness all of his life and hated vanity, earned himself a good name for eternity, our teacher and rabbi R’ Elimelch son of our teacher and rabbi Aharon Meir of blessed memory died 16 days to the month of First Adar in the year 5676 [20 February 1916] by the abbreviated era May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life (smages@comcast.net)
