Here lies Avraham Ber Hacohen Gotlober, a writer, poet and teacher, a great friend of writer in Hebrew and in Jewish. [Yiddish] He was born in Starokonstantinov [Ukraine] 18th Tevet 5571/1811 and he died in Bialystok 20th Iyyar 5659/1899. May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life." [bottom reads in Yiddish:] “whose matzevah was erected [by] the Bialystoker Literary Circle in the year 1925."
