And Yitschak [Yitschak, Icchok] left to walk in the field
and found his place in the Lord’s holy garden, engaged in the Torah,
son of our teacher and rabbi Rabbi Meir from Hamburg
left us to our sighs, died
at midnight and was buried on the next day on the eve of the Holy Sabbath,
the first day of the month of Adar 5504 [Friday 14 February 1744]
by the abbreviated era
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
