Here lies
an important woman modest in her words and pleasant in her ways,
Mrs. Hendil daughter of our teacher the rabbi Zev Wolf Offenheim, died
and was buried on 12 First Adar 5559 [17 February 1799] by the abbreviated era
May her soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
