Here lies.
Was careful and quick in the Lord’s work,
strained his voice to the Lord in the heavens,
worked with his throat evening, morning and noon,
surely he is the elderly HaRav R’ Zev Wolf
son of the late HaRav Shemuel of blessed memory,
a cantor of the holy community Weinberg, died on Passover eve [14 Nisan – 27 March 1793]
and was buried on Thursday on the first day of Passover
5553
by the abbreviated era.
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life.
