The right register: Here lies an honest charitable man
who was good in his actions, supported and instructed,
the honorable rabbi Yechezkel son of Reb Avraham [Abraham]
Katz of blessed memory, died was buried on Sunday 9 Nisan
5545 [20 March 1785] by the abbreviated era [the remainder is missing]
The left register: Here lies the important young man who walked
in the way of integrity, the honorable Mr. Avraham [Abraham]
son of HaRav Yechezkel Katz of blessed memory, died and
buried on Thursday 25 Second Adar in the year 5548
[3 April 1788] by the abbreviated era
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
