Daniel Szefner Here lies a God-fearing man who turned from evil, Reb Daniel Meir son of Reb Avraham [Abram] Garel HaCohen died on the eve of the month of Nisan 5655 [29 Second Adar – 5 April 1905] May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life Chose to be trustworthy in youth, respected by his community and in the eyes of those who know him, our beloved went down to his grave, our eyes will tear for the death of our father, our blow is mortal our grief is great.
