Here lies an old loyal man with a beloved
soul, studied the Torah and obeyed its commandments,
attached himself to wise students and sheltered with
the righteous, a Warka Hasid (a Hasidic dynasty in Poland
fonded by R. Isaac (Kalish) of Warka).
Surely he is the respected Hasid ,our teacher and rabbi
Dawid Mendel son of Reb Yona Yehudah of blessed memory from
Pułtusk, died at the age of 79 years
on the second day of Passover 5698 [16 Nisan – 17 April 1938]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life.
