a charming young man, the desire of our hearts,
surely he is the young man who followed God’s path,
crowned with manners and good qualities, the honorable
Efraim Fishel son of Reb Yisrael, grandson of the holy rabbi
Rabbi Fishel from Stryków [Strikov in Yiddish]
died at the age of 21 years on the first intermediate day of Passover
5697 [17 Nisan - 29 March 1937]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
