Here lies a young man who threw the whole world
behind his back, took on himself the kingdom of heaven
and lived most of his youth with the Tzadik (righteous) from Ger [Gur]*
May he lives long and happily Amen.
The young man Menachem Sheraga son of Yekutiel Yehudah
May his light shine, was accepted to the heavens on the 25th year of his life,
on the third day of Mar Heshvan 5697

May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life.
