Here lies a woman important and pious, a God-fearing woman
with a kind-heart, shiver and trouble fell in our hearts when our
beloved modest mother passed away because our glory was removed
from our heads, the privileged righteous Mrs. Matla daughter of Reb Yehudah
Haim of blessed memory Numberg, granddaughter of the Rabbi who wrote
the book “Beit Meir” [House of Meir] May the memory of the righteous
be of a blessing, died at the age of 54 years on 17 Kislev in the year 5686
[4 December 1925]
May her soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
