Died on the first intermediate day of Passover 5645 [17 Nisan – 2 April 1885].
Here lies a man upright and honest, God-fearing,
lived in simplicity all of his days, negotiated with trust,
the old man, our teacher and rabbi Menachem
son of our teacher and rabbi Moshe.
