"R. Hirsh Leyb Szlomowicz/Shlomowicz. Alas our eyes have grown dim because our brother was taken from us, the crown of our head, our beloved father, the elderly, the honorable R. Hirsch Leyb son of R. Yisrael Wolf (may he rest in peace). He died at age 78 years old, the 2nd/ 24th? Tishri 5681. May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life."
