An acrostic poem spelling the name of the deceased Sheindel
Here lies. Praise and rejoice our housewife,
sorrow and sigh will fill our hearts day and night
for the loss of our mother. Our crown has fallen,
our strong supporter, our heads are raised, she will be
carried to the heavens and her soul will rest in the bond of life,
was charitable at all time, Mrs. Sheindel daughter of Alter
Chaim/Haim Avi Ezra HaCohen
died on 15 Elul in the year 5696 [2 September 1936]
May her soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life.
