A marker for a beloved soul. Here lies a man upright, honest and God-fearing, old and full of days, engaged in the commandments all of his days, didn’t hesitate from knocking on the doors of the generous, helped the sick and the poor, was prominent in Moses’ Torah our teacher and rabbi Avraham son of R’ Chaim Kadesh was taken on 8 ? in the year 5659 [1898/89] by the abbreviated era.
