Here lies a man upright and honest who was
charitable, performed good deeds, was engaged
in community work and enjoyed the labor of his hands,
Mr. Dow [Dov] son of Reb Yehudah of blessed memory
Calkiewicz [Kolkowicz] died ? Sivan 5696 [May/June 1936]
May his soul be bound in the bond of everlasting life
