An acrostic poem spelling the name of the deceased Yisrael son of Reb Meir.
Blossomed and flew away, Yisrael glowed like a glowing sky, his sun set before he reached half of his life, his grave was curved far from his city and his homeland, Alas! shouted those who knew him for the crisis is so great, put nights like days and taught Halakah [Jewish religious laws] and interpretation to the elderly and to teenagers, for that he will be praised for his splendor, walked in the light of life without rest, the Lord’s angels will protect him and bless his merciful soul, he will find rest under the protection of the Lord,
