Here lies a rabbi eminent in the Torah, a true Hassid from a praised ancestry, R’ Yakov [Jacob] Yosef [Josef] son of the famous righteous rabbi our teacher and rabbi Pinchas Eliyahu May the memory of the righteous be of a blessing head of the Jewish religious court of the holy community of Pilica [Pilz in Yiddish] died 2 Menachem Av 5686. Here lies a young man, eminent, senior and pious, our teacher Shalom Tzvi Hirsh [Hersh] son of Reb Efraim Fishel May his light shine and son of the daughter of the genius rabbi Shalom Tzvi the rabbi from Zgierz, ancestor of the rabbi Rabbi Fishel from Stryków May his merits protect us. A roar of crisis, his parents will mourn him, weeping opposite them is his boyhood wife, his orphans will coo bitterly like birds, a precious gem from a righteous generation is concealed here among the best graves, on the tenth of the second month of Adar suddenly a decree was imposed on the son of Efraim, a beloved son who rested at the age of 31 in the year 5687 [14 March 1927] On the left side -.
